This was my final major project. It is a campaign/protest to free Charles Byrne’s remains. He is known as the Irish Giant as he was 8ft 2in tall (his skeleton was 7ft 7in). His story is 200 years old and is shocking as his wishes weren’t respected at all. He didn’t want to be on display or be dissected by scientists and these things have happened. The campaign includes a mini newspaper that tells you the story of Charles Byrne from 1761 - 2023, 4 protest posters, 4 badges, a 7ft 7in poster of his skeleton, 4 flag posters and an Instagram account. They are all have the same old looking style as its an old story. This campaign would be targeted at the Hunterian Museum in London where Byrne’s remains are kept. The aim is to finally have his wishes respected and have him buried at sea.
