About me
I rock hot pink pants with a Batman t-shirt when I feel like dressing to impress; I've got a shark backpack which some say holds the key to my secrets; My friends turn to me when they need in-depth knowledge to their artistic inquires; And I can adapt to any environment-- except maybe space. If your office is located in space then I don't know if I'm a fit for the team.
What others call obsession, I prefer to call an infatuation—an unapologetic love for the thing which has helped shape me into who I am. Art and cartoons are the air I breathe; I work part time at a movie theatre and while the popcorn smells nice and the free soda is sweet, I find myself without the outlet I need to thrive. Going to animation events, finding like-minded individuals who also share my interests in animation or cinema—these are the things which get my mind racing and moving. You'll find me at a toy store or flipping through "Art of" books sooner than you'd see me shop for shoes.
And I have struggled; I have fought for every inch I have gained in these past few years. I have faced down my own personal monsters while I have been out of school and dealing with the tremendous beast known as "post-graduate life", I've had to deal with the burden of family death, of my own bout of depression, of the terror known as a customer service job, and I have survived. And I believe that this absolute (And slightly manic) will to press on will push me forward at FLW International. I can adapt. I will adapt. And I will thrive.
If you think I sound like a fit for a Concept Artist, because clearly I think I am, please contact me at the number or email listed in my resume. I hope to hear from you soon!
