We are constructing a five minute piece on Broadway market, as we feel there is a increasing popularity in adults visiting these markets. We picked this one especially as it is quite central, and it’s a market we haven’t necessarily visited before, making it new to us. There is way more local food in this market, and lots of art, and bookshops, which are interesting. We want to show the audience a better way to spend your weekend. Instead of lazing about in bed, or eating another manky fry up to soak up last nights alcohol, get up early, visit a market, eat some fresh local produce, listen to live music, sit in the sun, and engage with your fellow neighbours. We are also highlighting the underlying tone of gentrification, and how it is affecting many areas in London. If we were to expand our content we would visit another area of London, and see what the effects of gentrification are doing to the city and the people who live there.
