The Mount ident is the first piece in a new series of collaborative audiovisual works. Directed by Guy Gotto the dynamic visual explores the science of cymatics and captures magnetised ferrofluid through a macro lens. Mount set out to record and manipulate an array of micro sounds using a contact microphone. Combined with field recordings, analogue synths and acoustic instrumentation the team layered organic/electronic textures to create vast otherworldly soundscapes. The piece contains no visual effects whatsoever.
