About me
Moumita is a multi-faceted National Creative Director with over 15 years of experience in advertising and film. She has spearheaded award-winning, integrated advertising campaigns across emerging channels, TV, print, digital, and social media. Her recent 2025 Cannes win includes Garuda Rakshak - The Guardian in the Sky while her Kyoorius, Good Ads Matter, and AFAQS win includes the Uber Women Safety Campaign.
Her brand experience includes Honda, Google, the Ministry of Women and Child Welfare, Hindustan Times, Uber, Hero, Pernod Ricard, Honda, BMW, DSM, Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd., among others. In 2021, she was awarded the prestigious Kyoorius Award for her film on the Farmers' Protest. She has also won awards for radio spots, digital films, and various other short films, including a Road Safety film for the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Additionally, she contributed to the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign, advocating the eradication of female infanticide and sex-selective abortion in India.
Moumita is a storyteller who believes in writing stories with the power to change the world for the better. She sees briefs as opportunities to create love letters. Deeply influenced by everything her city Kolkata represents, especially food, books, music, and sleep and she aims not only to be a leader but a cultural force within the advertising industry. Alongside her career, she also pursues her passion for writing and making short films.
