To promote these driving experiences, I drew on the battle of the sexes. Gender roles provided a rich seam to poke fun at the guys and entice women to purchase gift packages for their men. The campaign had a positive impact on sales – during a period of a deteriorating economy, driving experiences sales rose 8% year on year.
