ABOUT
Description:
I developed a series of 8 looping 3D animations for a live concert, completed within an intense 3-day timeframe. The visuals were designed to align with the musician’s established brand identity, featuring a signature skull with dreadlocks motif, previously used in their album covers. The key challenge was to integrate a 3D metahuman model of the musician, bringing the animated character to life with realistic facial expressions.
Initially, the plan was to scan the musician and transfer their likeness onto the metahuman, but due to unexpected technical hurdles, I improvised by performing the song myself and transferring my own facial expressions onto the character. This creative twist added a unique and playful touch to the final video, enhancing its emotional engagement.
The result was a seamless 5-minute animated loop, featuring dynamic transitions and maintaining audience attention without monotony. The final visuals captivated the concert crowd and required no revisions from the client.
Key Elements:
• 3D Skull Motif Integration
• Metahuman Animation with Facial Motion Transfer
• Creative Problem-Solving Under Tight Deadlines
• High-Quality Visuals for Live Concert
This project showcases my ability to adapt quickly, think outside the box, and deliver high-impact visuals that enhance the overall experience of a live performance.
