ABOUT
Over the course of my 9 month contract I have helped shape and define the current user experience for Morrisons, the website has improved and has consistently been amongst the top in the industry.
Seen here are some snapshots of my work, and how the site looked when finished in Feb 2016.
Some of the improvements I helped implement:
• Working on a new homepage and user journey which has helped increase sales from £2.5m per week in May to on average £7m per week. Previously the homepage had no shop functionality.
The Morrisons site is built on an Ocado platform, so understanding what is technically feasible was key in order to deliver workable UX solutions.
• A/B Testing and iterative UX work including piece by piece projects to improve the impact of banners (for example how the colour of buttons affects click-rates).
• Improving site navigation – I reworked the tab system.
• Improving the overall design look and feel seen by the more harmonious look to the current site.
• Helping to integrate content with shop sections and helping create a new template for events driven campaigns.
• Creating new sections for the website based on existing frameworks, wireframes for large campaigns like Christmas along with site maps and detailed user journey mockups.
• App design projects such as Morrisons Seenit app which I led start to finish.
• Email design and improvement, I helped implement ideas that have improved click-rates such as having a CTA above the fold.
