Montgomerie Harper Graphic Designer/Illustrator

ABOUT

This project involved creating a new logo to represent the Tampa Superhero walk, an annual fundraiser walk created by the HFGF to raise money and awareness for bleeding disorders. This was a pro-bono project as I have participated in the Walk since early childhood, and desired to help the HFGF create a fun, vibrant yet simple icon and system designed to be both attractive to donors and inspiring to the kids who participate.
I started with a series of rough sketches, which were quickly narrowed down to the strongest options. From there I constructed refined versions of the top sketches in Adobe Illustrator and sent them to the client for review. The bulk of the project involved taking and translating client feedback into newer, cleaner versions while incorporating a preexisting color palette and design elements from the prior branding. This was the final result, to be printed on this year’s event t-shirts and promotional material and shirts into the coming years.
