The brief was to conceive a name, create a logo/wordmark identity for a collectibles company with a difference. The 3D printed figurines which they design are made in-house, are inspired by The Light, influenced by The Biblically Good and Faith in Christ.

So many collectibles companies intentionally design DARK pop-art pieces in a way that often has a chubby little, childlike, 'cutesy', kawaii edge - and so, at the very least, logic would suggest that these companies are not only targeting adult collectors with their cute and inappropriate products, but children too.

Solid Rock Collectibles want to GLORIFY GOD first and foremost with their 3D works and creative output, helping counteract Anti-Christian ideologies, warped pop-culture and the art toys or figurine collectibles that are being produced that are devilishly distasteful and designed to be dark, demented and often symbolically EVIL. - The mission is to inspire Faith in Christ through their artworks all the while helping them to bring Glory to The Lord, when working through that creative process.

We came up with the Tagline: "Resin Creations - Inspired By Faith In Christ." - and worked backwards from there. - What followed next, was a serious name brainstorming session and nothing we came up with could beat "Solid Rock Collectibles". - The Word and Faith in Jesus Christ himself being the foundation of Solid Rock …a foundation built on Truth, not forever shifting sands. The name also representing the very nature and essence of the Christian themed sculptures - by no means idols - the company designs and produces.
