Vector portrait exercise (2011)

The Green Lady was created as part of an exercise to boost my Adobe Illustrator skills. Using shapes created from areas of shadow on a photograph, and then building them up into a Pop-Art/Art Deco esq image.

This is one of my favourite vector pieces as it has a strong contrast between the lighter and darker aspects of the image. The eyes really stand out amongst the skin tones with a slightly questioning expression and grab the viewers attention.
