Blu-Ray Boxset, Surface Graphics & Promotional Posters (2013)

For our first year HND Graphic Design course packaging and surface graphic assignment, I was tasked with creating a blu-ray boxset and accompanying promotional posters. Band of Brothers is one of my all time favourite HBO mini-series, so I used this project as a my way to pay homage to a series I enjoyed so much.
The design is based upon a WWII era ammunition tin which I used as reference, with the disc holder sections as a separate pull out compartment that would open into 4 sections, one for each disc. The surface graphics on the inside were situation maps from the battles shown in the series with the outside graphics displaying main characters and scenes from the series.
On a side note: One of the promotional poster designs was chosen by the management team at the NEC to be displayed alongside other students design work in the VIP area in 2013.
