Mispronounced Rayleigh

ABOUT

Celia is British Pullman’s private dining and events carriage, imagined by Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin. Drawing on Shakespeare, vintage cinema and London’s 1930s West End, the carriage follows the imagined story of Celia, a fictional leading actress remembered for her portrayal of Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Mispronounced was commissioned to develop the first physical pieces surrounding the carriage, extending its theatrical world beyond the interior itself.

Execution:
The work spanned emblem development, printed ephemera and presentation objects. Each piece responded to the wider character of Celia through texture, detail and theatrical restraint, while establishing an ongoing framework that could continue across future guest-facing materials and touchpoints.

Result:
The collection created the first physical expressions of Celia beyond the carriage itself, establishing a wider identity and a framework that could continue to develop as the experience evolved.
