ABOUT

As Volvo was about to announce two new safety features, it realised that the criticism against these features was almost identical to the criticism after the seatbelt was introduced in 1959. So the brand decided to remind people that ideas that change the world are often the most controversial. In the film A Million More, car crash survivors read criticism against the seatbelt, the invention that saved their lives. Since casting was a core part of the idea, and since the seatbelt is a standard feature worldwide, the brand needed a universal and diverse cast of 16 unique survivors.
