This is a cover music video created by me and two other designers for the song ‘The message’ by the pioneer of hip hop - Grand Master Flash. Using Photoshop I created a series of typographic GIFs, animated with a vinatge computer aesthetic, and overlay them onto an 1980s Mac from the same era the song came out. Combined with the narrative of the office nerd opening a virus of pop-ups on his computer, it is a juxtaposition from the gritty street nature of the lyrics.
