ABOUT

El Silbo Is my ISTD entry, a book about an endangered dialect of Spanish spoken purely through whistling. The book documents the languages history and its uncertain future under the UNESCO deceleration of endangerment to the language. Designing this book I took the opportunity to explore the mechanics of a book with the story being told through hidden illustrations underneath page folds.
