Concept

Leak Alerts was developed as a fast, clear, community-focused PSA designed to help homeowners recognize the early warning signs of hidden water leaks. As director, I wanted the message to be simple, visual, and actionable—showing how small issues can grow into major problems if ignored. The concept paired straightforward education with a clean, approachable aesthetic to ensure the spot resonated across broad audiences.

Execution

Mile High Films produced the PSA using a mix of live-action demonstrations and motion-graphics overlays. Our team designed each shot around clarity and visual reinforcement, highlighting key household leak indicators in kitchens, bathrooms, and exterior structures. We kept the pacing crisp and the framing intentional, making the information quick to absorb on television and digital platforms. The graphics package added an extra layer of accessibility, guiding viewers through each step without overwhelming the message.

Results

The final spot became a central outreach tool for the client’s conservation campaign, driving awareness around leak prevention and encouraging proactive home maintenance. It performed strongly across regional broadcast and social media channels, delivering a clear public-service message with polished production value.
