A collection of analogue photography and drawings made during a month long trip across Japan, by half Japanese-half English artist brought up in europe, returning after many years. Assembled in a sometimes abstract or surreal collage forms, the images seek to show a side of Japan different from postcard pictures and cliches. Through an intimate lense, it documents a travel juxaposing memory with present, and a dreamlike exploration of symbols and rituals, whether man made or natural.
