Over the last 12 months Mike has taken on a new role as CEO for RAPP EMEA. This follows the successful merger of the Proximity and RAPP global networks, announced in May 2020. This new network, which adopt's the RAPP name, will continue to report into the Omnicom Precision Marketing Group.
Prior to this Mike lead the Proximity Global network for 4 years, having spent 8 years at the helm of its largest office, Proximity London.
Mike started his career as a brand manager working for the giant US Telco GTE. His first agency role was in DMB&B. This was followed by 6 years at BBH and 13 years at OgilvyOne where he was CEO of their London office. He joined Proximity London in 2008 as CEO and during his time in charge led the agency through a significant period of growth and transformation.
Throughout his career he has been associated with bringing award-winning campaigns and growth to some of the UK's most iconic brands including Royal Mail, BT, BA, the BBC, Lloyds Banking Group, Virgin Atlantic and John Lewis.
Mike is unique in that he has led not one but two network agencies to the coveted position of Campaign Agency of the Year, OgilvyOne in 2007 and Proximity London in 2015.
Mike earned his Bachelor degree from London University and in 2013 spent 2 months at Harvard Business School graduating from their Advanced Management Program.
Mike is a member of the Marketing Group of Great Britain - MGGB .
