About me

Dear Sir,

I am an ambitious recent graduate looking to take up a creative role that allows me to combine the skills learnt during my year on a public relations graduate scheme with my exceptional writing ability.

Working directly with the public in museums has given me a good understanding of people and their motivations and attitudes towards the world. I pride myself on being able to communicate new ideas to a wide audience through guided tours, visual presentations and written fact sheets.

This has been enhanced through my work at a communications agency, learning to use the media and different communications platforms to convey vital messages for a varied client base across the arts and sports sectors. It has taught me to appreciate the responsibility of producing accurate and intelligent copy for prestigious organisations and given me great pride to be a part of their public facing side.

The fast paced agency environment has taught me to effectively manage and prioritise tasks, plan ahead and most importantly keep a calm head whilst working quickly to the highest standard. It has helped me to hone my IT skills - the use of spreadsheets, presentations and databases being vital to completing the myriad tasks - whilst running clients social media activity and carrying out internet research has helped me develop a good knowledge of online activity and social media trends.

I enjoy being in a thriving and varied team both in the work place and whilst playing sport, I believe it inspires and brings the best out of me. I am level-headed, organised and friendly. I am committed and enthusiastic to the idea of new challenges and opportunities and open minded to learning new skills.
