About me

Hello, my name is Miguel and I am a Brand Designer and Art Director with more than 20 years of experience creating compelling brand images, concepts and campaigns.

In the last 20 years I was working for some of the most famous and best retail/fashion brands and now i am based between Madrid and Dubai for a project for INDITEX/DAHER GROUP.
From the very first moments of one creative project, to the production of this project working and involving lots of different departments and areas of the communication (ofline, stores, shootings and video creation, online, etc) my experience always was related with to work with so many different departments and to mentor and organize different creative teams.

My most important learning, based on all the past experiences in some of the best retail brands, is having understood that brands need to generate emotions, and the most important skill is to discover with which exact inputs each brand can generate these emotions assuming the challenge of the accelerated changes in habitus and tastes of current consumers.

Fashion retail and textile companies are one of the best laboratories for learning how to react to all the changes in trends, ideas and the minds of consumers. Everything changes and reinvents itself very quickly... from a sociological point of view it is fascinating.

Lifestyle brands generate an emotion in the consumer, and my duty is to find this elements and what makes that this emotion exist.

I know very well how busy HR depts are and they can not spend hours watching CV´s so (as in my daily job) lets be concrete and structure this letter in the clearest way.
Why do I think I'm a good choice for your company

STRUCTURED THINKING

That came from my studies of Architecture. The structure of the building is the most important thing but then all the parts of the project are linked and need to be interconnected in a very precise way. The creative process needs to be structured and you need to interconnect a very big group of different departments. You are the director of the orchestra and the orchestra needs to sound perfect.

2. FLEXIBLE CREATIVITY

Fashion textile collections need to reinvents every 3 months (or even every 3 mins)... This means that you need to be a passionate person in contact with all the trends of the market, not of fashion but of life, as at the end, inspiration for design is everywhere.
