Posters for conference The Visible Word (MA Typographic Hierarchy Workshop). The aim was to work in two stages to produce a finished typographic poster using the text supplied. Initially, we had to work by hand to produce rough layouts and in stage two, refine our design using an appropriate technique/technology (including computers). Each design should emphasise the specific single aspect of the information selected by the group of students (either what, who, where or when). During the process, we had to consider aspects like a measured grid, alignments and groupings based on it, in order to produce a coherent design.
