"Everyone has the right to know what they’re buying, but 9/10 visually impaired people are denied this.
“Packcessible” launched with a retail experience. A shop filled with packaging without any information; putting sighted people in the shoes of people with sight loss.
We designed information-free packaging and sent them to industry leaders. All products featured a Navilens code, an RNIB-backed technology which describes information using audio.
6/10 top UK supermarkets are trialling Navilens, with Kelloggs & Pantene integrating it into their packaging worldwide. The campaign was also discussed in parliament.
Together with businesses, RNIB is making packaging designed for everyone."
