About me

I am part-time freelance designer wishing to make a more permanent position to full-time work. I have a HND in fashion design and a BA Hons in textile design. I am a dedicated designer. I constantly find stimulus in art and design. I specialized in all aspects of textile design, mainly patterns which are in repeat. In the creation of my designs I may paint, sketch, photograph and line draw, also to produce not only designs, but canvasses and cards.

My designing skills are both hand and digital, from the influence, to the developing and then taking it into the digital format. The format can change depending on what is asked for to what I think is needed. I am adept in both Photoshop and Illustrator and I learn new things all the time.

My pattern design has mostly moved towards wallpaper, fabric, cards, packaging, bedding, I pods and more recently socks.

Whilst free-lancing I have worked for Whittard, IPod, small independent shops selling greeting card designs.
