About me
Hi Duncan,
I am emailing about your graphic designer position. It seems like a very exciting opportunity to join Pitch with your success and growth. To work with your clients and give value to there brands and products. I have always enjoyed being part of the whole creative process which is why the role excites me. I have experience working through the projects from the conception of the brief to artworking and production. Also working with both digital and print gives the best of both worlds for a designer. I love the quality of printed material but I also enjoy the new and innovative opportunities that digital design provides.
I graduated from university with a 1st BA(Hons) in Graphic Communication at UCA Farnham. During this time at university I handled other creative work such as internships, freelance work and projects like the TEDx Conference. I started in the advertising and marketing industry shortly after and learnt and progressed a huge amount, learning invaluable knowledge about design, the professional environment and client relations. Through these 7 months I have worked on a range of design and strategy on both consumer facing and business to business design. Both have there challenges but it is great to solve these problems.
I have had experience in marketing, advertising, packaging, production and digital design. Having this experience allows me to be a very good all round designer that is familiar in seeing a project from its inception to its delivery and implementation. I currently see projects right the way through the creative process so have the knowledge to over come problems.
I have attached a CV to this email for your reference. I have also provided a link to my Behance portfolio below. If you would like to see samples of my recent work I would love to come into your office and show them to you. Also please let me know if you would like me to provide references from previous employers.
