The brief was to create an animation to promote the client's Kickstarter campaign for a strategic card game.

I worked with the client to come up with the initial concept of a family sitting around the table playing the game. I then wrote a script and designed the characters. Once signed off, I moved onto creating an animatic. The final stage was the actual animation, which is a blend of 2D characters and a 3D set, created in Blender.

With a background in music production, the client took care of the audio for the project.

The result was a fun, light-hearted animation, that worked to explain the game rules, and contribute to the Kickstarter campaign more than doubling the funding goal.
