About me

I am a hard working, driven and multidisciplinary graphic designer and photographer with a passion for all things creative. I've worked on a broad range of commercial projects over the past few years from branding, design, visual identity, moving image and photography. I like to apply creative thinking to develop thought-provoking solutions.

Over the last few years working freelance I have acquired skills in both in design and photography that I believe would be a real asset for the role of graphic designer or art worker. I have became very proficient with most design software from the Adobe packages up to CS5. As expected these include standards like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Premiere, & Soundbooth. Outside of the Adobe Suite, Quark, Final Cut Pro, Keynote and MS Office Suite are packages I am also proficient with.
Prior to graduating and working freelance I had five years experience in an IT network technician role which involved the networking, configuration and maintenance of PC & Mac network environments. This job required fast problem solving, lateral thinking, meticulous organisation, time management skills and ability to learn new skills quickly. As I was also dealing with members of the public a professional, flexible & friendly attitude was also needed.
After graduation I took seven months to backpack and volunteer in Central America. Having returned in February, I have continued to work freelance, however I am looking to further expand my career by taking on full time position. I am full of enthusiasm and ready to hit the ground running in a vibrant agency or studio and as I currently work freelance I am ready to take on any position immediately with no notice period to carry out.

Throughout my career I have achieved a consistent record of success through my dedicated and conscientious approach to work. I have always managed to balance my professionalism with an excellent working relationship with colleagues and work extremely well both in a team on and individually.
I feel with my creative approach and passion for design and photography, relevant degree and internship experience, strong background in IT, proficiency with design packages, successful track record for commercial print and photographic publications, friendly attitude and great work ethic, I believe I would be a valuable asset to any organisation who takes me on.
