Dear Sir/Madam

I feel I would be able to make a significant contribution to your design team as I am reliable, hard working and strive to be the best.

My professional qualifications include a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design from Kent Institute of Art and Design in Rochester gaining knowledge and experience in using many of the major design programmes such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark Xpress. Since leaving college, I have also taken part time courses in Dreamweaver and Photoshop to further develop my proficiency. In addition to this, I am competent in the use of the Microsoft Office software suite.

Since leaving college, I have been working as an assistant screen printer, gaining valuable knowledge of the printing industry and its associated processes. The position requires getting work completed to a high standard and to meet tight deadlines set by the clients.

My goal is to seek an opportunity that will enable me to use the skills I have acquired in a professional environment which will further enhance my skills and career. I believe that a job with your company would give me the stepping stone that I am seeking.
