I am a versatile writer based in London. I am adept at producing clear and engaging articles and have an expansive command of English. I believe that I can be an excellent journalist, and having proved my ability, consistently producing copy to tight deadlines, I am ready for a more demanding editorial role.

In my previous role as a copywriter, I was responsible for writing and editing the online research content of a university website; this entailed reading through highly technical scientific reports, doing my own research and liaising with academics, and writing coherent, accurate and concise news articles. I wrote news articles about both the sciences and the arts, including: architecture, engineering, psychology, astrophysics, biology, medicine, pharmacy, ecology, chemistry, history, English, languages, education, sports science, sociology, anthropology and cultural studies. I relish the challenge of having to quickly furnish myself with an understanding of a complex issue and write about it in a way that non-specialist readers will understand.

I am an amiable individual and feel quite at ease speaking to people of all levels of seniority, my professional yet friendly manner can prove a useful interviewing tool, and can elicit eye-catching quotes.
