About me
I am a senior gradute of the BA in Visual Arts at UNA, and I work as a freelance illustrator, taking commissions such as paintings, portraits, album covers and brand illustrations. I am also a former drawing and figurative painting professor. I have four years of experience teaching students of a wide range of ages, at my studio and through online classes using photoshop since the pendemic.
I am passionate about storytelling and combining literature and visual arts. Recently, I have been making storyboards. I am a film lover and I have a strong grasp of the language of cinema, sequential art and photography. Plus, a solid understanding of form, color theory, composition, perspective and anatomy. I am specialized in oil painting but able to work with different mediums. I have an extensive knowledge on the history of Visual Arts, Literature and Drama, and excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
My paintings and illustrations all have a realistic tone, mixed with fantastic elements. They show my passion for literature, movies, theatre and circus. Aside from work, I like having projects of my own in progress. I write stories and illustrate them, and eventualy I would like to get into publishing.
