ABOUT

After a discussion of the economic fall of Detroit, Michigan, a brand development project was suggested.

Detroit's identity thrives on simplicity. A modern, yet retro typeface is used with a cityscape that can also be a stand alone. The cityscape design is influenced by an EKG, which simply shows the life of Detroit --- after a great struggle, the heart's still beating.
A rebranding of Detroit. A combination of old school, Motown Detroit, with a new, modern city. Detroit's recent new growth is solely because of artists who have moved in, contributing to the city's rebuild. (7 colors make up the brand.)
