ABOUT
In the fall of 2022, I partnered with Meta Reality Labs to reimagine the Quest Store experience through immersive design. The brief was to explore how dimensional, multi-sensory interfaces could increase engagement and conversion, with a focus on scalable solutions that aligned with both short-term feasibility and long-term product goals. The team created an in-headset VR prototype showcasing a conceptual but functional shopping experience. Grounded in three core principles of tangibility, immersion, and multi-sensoriality, we developed spatial UI systems and interactive product moments that brought the Store environment to life. These included animated volumetric titles, immersive PDPs, and layered parallax interfaces, all designed to feel more tactile and emotionally engaging. The result was a comprehensive product vision and working demo that Meta adopted into a larger initiative, influencing the future direction of Quest platform commerce and inspiring internal teams to build beyond flat 2D conventions.
