“DIGIT”, piece of a Fabrica group exhibition for Paola C., 2005.

“DIGIT”, the Digital Candle Holder, is a very simple ceramic piece for people to celebrate years up to 99, without the cake by using normal size stick candles. It’s one of the seven selected pieces of the FAB TAB collection designed for Paola C. -an Italian brand that manufactures and sells objects tied to the art of the table.

After being exhibited during the Salone del Mobile in 2005, it went into production. ‘Digit’ has been published in books as “& fork” by Phaidon Press, “Pure design” by Monsa and various international magazines. In 2012, it was selected for Foscarini’s exhibition ‘fare lume’ curated by Beppe Finesse, at Museo Poldi Pezzoli in Milan. Projects by Marcel Wanders, Philip Starck, Richard Meier and Jean-Marie Massaud also have their works featured in the show.
