Dear Sirs,

I am writing regarding the Creative Designer position advertised on the creative pool website and have attached a copy of my CV for your consideration.

Having recently finished my studies in Interior Design and Decoration at the renowned Enmore School of Design in Sydney, I have moved to the U.K to begin the next chapter of my career. With a background in the Fashion and Events Industry, working both freelance and with a boutique agency, I feel I already have a sound understanding and appreciation of the work and skills needed to progress in this industry.

I commenced my position as Event Coordinator at LaraInc in 2007, and after 12 months was independently looking after my own events and clients, working closely with the Creative Director, to take on all responsibilities associated with this comprehensive and challenging role. Throughout my time at LaraInc I worked closely with a range of clients and suppliers building up professional and friendly relationships which developed for the entirety of my time at the company. I finished work with the company in 2010 to allow myself to focus on my studies and ensure that I was giving enough time to develop my design skills.

Throughout the course I recently completed my love for design has flourished and I am ready to put all I have learnt about interiors, graphics and the design fundamentals into practice in my new role. I believe the position you are offering will allow me the opportunities I seek to both utilize and enhance my creativity, whilst using putting the experience and knowledge I already have into place. Having worked with high-profile clients for the past 5 years I understand and appreciate the demand and quality that their brands require and ensure that I work to the best of my ability to fulfill their event/design briefs.
