‘Eerlijk Waar?!’ is a long-format social series created for the Dutch Consumentenbond, transforming bizarre consumer stories into engaging 90-second animated videos.
Stories were collected via reporting point ‘Meldpunt Eerlijk’, recorded as phone calls, then illustrated to enhance their impact.
Defying the “goldfish attention span” myth, the series uses today’s visual language to grab and hold attention.
By adopting a community-driven approach, Eerlijk Waar?! broke through content clutter and resonated with both millennials and Gen Z, proving Consumentenbond’s relevance to younger audiences.
