Brief:
Work with a Melbourne based band to develop a brand image that reflects their style and your creative direction. Both the band styling and your creative direction should be developed to work as a feature in a magazine of your choosing. Alternatively you may create your own magazine.

Concept:
The band we chose is a local Melbourne psychedelic pop six piece who were severely lacking a style to go with their extremely unique sound. We wanted something colourful, fun and quirky, yet also quite polished to match their personalities and their music. As a marketing campaign we wanted to help sell their image as well as their sound.

The final concept was based on the idea of a dress up party in someone's living room, with a funky 70's vibe and a really relaxed, fun feel. With such a neutral setting the main focus then moves to each of the band member's unique personality and the incredibly close friendships which are the basis behind their musical endeavours, and the real appeal of their music.
