This was for an event at the newly opened Rough Trade Nottingham. The brief was simple, to create a poster that conveyed the psych rock shenanigans that were about to transpire. Now what could be more psychedelic than a many armed Clint Eastwood as a priest offering Bakewell tart cakes to the masses à la Ken Kesey circa ’65? Not much (to me).
