ABOUT

We travelled out with the Ocean Generation team to Antigua & Barbuda in the Caribbean to film a Hackathon organised by the charity on the island. The event, held in partnership with United Nations Office for Projects and Services (UNOPS), was intended to help those who are most likely to be caught up in hurricanes and natural disasters - weather patterns that are becoming more frequent and deadly as a result of climate change. The hackathon saw 20 teams competing to create an app that would help prepare, recover and repair small islands.

Aims and objectives:

This video was used to highlight the influence of UNOPS support of smaller charities. Through video, Ocean Generation wanted us to show what was going on in the area and how they were making a difference to the local community.

Deliverables:

1 short-form documentary-style promo video
