ABOUT
It is common knowledge that well nourished patients recover from their ailments quicker and therefore better than those who are not. However, the majority of patients in our hospitals only have their own choices from a catering menu to help them as they recover. If nutritional supplements were used more often in this setting then the costs associated with extended hospital stays could be vastly reduced, and other efficiencies could be found. FK hope with this campaign to persuade hospital procurement to look again at the way effective nutrition can transform the efficiency of their hospitals.
