Task: I was brought in to art direct the second issue of BlackRock magazine. Working again with illustrators such as Noma Bar, Neil Webb, Raymond Biesinger and the emerging talent that is Ekaterina Erschowa. The brief was make banking fun, using quirky elements to illustrate and numerous quotes and box outs to ease the reader in to what, in effect, was a deep dive into financial matters. The cover was chosen by the end client and unfortunately due to market the magazine ceased soon afterwards.
