About me
I have worked in a variety of multi-disciplinary creative jobs both freelance and industry, working on book design, concept drawings for car design, media production/editing for music companies, prop design, publicity for events and bars around London, and assisting in London design week 2014. I thrive at working across media platforms with different colleagues, combining a detailed knowledge of the adobe suite alongside a major appreciation for research and idea-based, conversational process.
I have continued to work in research after I found an interest during my degree at Camberwell in Graphic Design, of which since finishing I have continued discussion with researchers, journalists and theorists including Fred Pearce 'environmental consultant for the New Scientist' and Hiroshi Ishiguro 'head of robotics, Osaka University', to discuss my current personal research themes in the hope of developing my personal research project.
During my design degree I continued to specialise in filmmaking. My final major project 'Self Help' was a recipient of a Global Film award and runner up at the UK Film Festival in the student category. Of since my film work has been shown in Rotterdam, Belfast, and a number of locations around London.
For the past 14 months I have worked for Embargo Films. I was bought in to assist the Director whilst also utilising my skills as a designer, developing 5 projects at varying stages of development. 'Scarborough' was taken through to p.p in May 2017, post production was completed in December 2017.
This led me to my second feature Carmilla where I continued working as a designer in the Art Department.
At present I am still working freelance within the film industry whilst being open to any other collaborative projects.
