Unlike the Proxemic Bench, which I designed and manufactured myself, this piece was created in collaboration with a carpenter. I was asked by a client to design a piece which was modern and had a simple shape, but which most importantly allowed him to work efficiently and with a level of flexibility. It has a simple ‘L’ shape, which not only gives the client enough space to work with, but also allows the client to switch from his laptop space to his open work space.
