Matt Elek is the CEO for VICE across the EMEA region, having set up VICE's UK business in 2002. VICE is a global youth media company and content creation studio. Launched in Montreal in 1994 as a punk magazine, VICE now operates out of 30+ countries, and has expanded into a multimedia network that reaches an entire generation of young people, influencing what they read, watch and talk about. VICE's network includes the world's premier source for original online video, VICE.COM; a network of digital channels; an award winning television & film production studio including an Emmy-Winning HBO Show; and a feature film partnership with 20th Century Fox. VICE's media empire now also includes an international TV channel, VICELAND, which launched in 2016.
