HJC a marquee synonymous with MotoGP has started transferring its knowledge and know-how in motorcycle protection to cycling. Relatively new to the world of pro cycling, however have been the worlds no 1 helmet in the motorcycle world for many years. This series of images shows how HJC has evolved from motorcycle helmets through to today’s top-end road cycling helmets gracing Hour record attempts and WorldTour teams. Shot all in-camera in studio, with no photoshop effects. A dream like state was created where speed/ movement and the circular motion of spinning of wheels twists seeing both helmets together into a morph. A nod to the manufactures past heritage and their new phases in protection, the bicycle helmet transitioning from motorcycle helmet. Conceptual imagery produced for the Innovators issue of Rouleur magazine. IG- @mattbenstone
