About me
Matilda Egere-Cooper is an award-winning media and content leader, specialising in journalism, content marketing and comms.
As a writer, she was a regular contributor to the BBC, i-D, Dazed & Confused, Reuters, CNN and the Evening Standard for more than a decade. And in 2007, she was named Writer of the Year at the Record of the Day Awards for her work in The Independent.
She later became the Community Editor at Time Out, where she launched the company's first blogger network. Time Out is also where she branched into content marketing, devising and executing ideas and campaigns for brands including Adidas, PayPal and Nescafé.
More recently, she was the Head of Content and Social at activewear brand Sweaty Betty, where she led on the strategy for major brand campaigns including their debut collab with Hollywood actress Halle Berry.
In her spare time, she's the run coach and leader of Fly Girl Collective - a running, fitness and wellness community created to encourage black and brown women to pursue a healthy lifestyle. Since 2018, it's been featured on the BBC website, as well as Stylist Magazine, Time Out, Runner's World and Women's Running Magazine.
