ABOUT

The brief was to create an ambient advertising campaign to promote awareness of the condition Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) to the general public.

I felt that the campaign had to encompass what it was like for someone who suffers with the condition, with the viewer taking an active role in experiencing this.

The "OCD trail" has a start and end point and invites the viewer into participating in some OCD rituals along the way. There are a couple of questions posed to the viewer along the way, that are designed to cause doubt in relation to some of the rituals they've done. This leads to the end where the viewer is faced with going back to the beginning again to do all of the rituals, because of that doubt.

The colour orange is used not only to stand out in the the town centre, but because it's the colour that is associated with the OCD-UK charity.
