ABOUT

Plants of temperate forests are a diverse ecosystem with a wide variety of trees and plants. These plants are adapted to the temperate climate, characterized by cold winters and warm summers. Common tree species in this region include deciduous trees and evergreen trees, such as oak, pine, maple, and beech. These trees provide numerous environmental benefits such as shade, food sources for animals, and contribute to the nutrient cycle of the forest. Temperate forests are also an important resource for economic activities like forestry and tourism.
