I always looked after the 'Finishing touches' feature. came up with a theme, researched home items, ordered the imagery from store's PR companies. Needed one main 'square up' image and 'cut outs' for the rest of the items, so I would have ordered two or three main images and several 'cut outs'.
I then wrote the headline, subhead and product copy before submitting copy and images to the chief sub for layout.

For the Homes news feature, I would have contributed some of the pieces in it, writing up from a press release and ordering an image to accompany the item.
