This was to create representations of each part of the company, and represents them as buildings or objects of each ones choosing. The illustration style, as indicated in the early storyboard concepts, was to emulate doodles on a page. Specifically doodles of an engineer, but one in a less serious mood. Fun was the excepted theme behind the project. A way of being imperfect and experimental was the mind-set. The site went live in 2008. As you can, see from the illustrations on the main or home page. More buildings from the different sections of ESAB were built, meaning more people wanted to join in on the programme.
