Vero is a one-stop social media platform that emphasizes genuine social interactions and user privacy. Launched in 2015, VERO set out to redefine what a social network should be and delivered a true social experience for its members. Vero released Vero 2.0, introducing new features including voice and video calls, game and app posts and bookmarks, and refinements to the UI.
Aligned with its philosophy to be a platform designed to get out of the way and let users fully
immerse themselves in the content from design to functionality, VERO expanded to include desktop and tablet versions of the app. In October 2021, VERO Desktop app (beta) was launched to allow musicians, content creators, and their community the freedom to realize their visions from their computer (Mac/Windows) rather than prioritizing a quick snapshot view. The VERO Desktop app gives users a dynamic, re-sizeable multi-column feed allowing for a full-spread view of posts (with Chat open whilst browsing) instead of a linear feed, multiple post options, and vibrant, big-screen media viewing.
The ad and algorithm-free network optimized for true connection, not addiction, is now accessible on desktop, iOS and Android mobile devices. With VERO Desktop, users can enjoy an empathic network made for them from their chosen device, controlling and owning their social experience completely.
